Maternity Photography in Northern Virginia – Session Details

Our maternity photography sessions in Northern Virginia are designed to capture the beauty and emotion of this special time. All maternity sessions typically last about one hour.

The ideal time for a maternity photo session is between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy, when your baby bump is beautifully defined but you’re still comfortable enough to pose. We recommend booking your session several weeks in advance to ensure availability during this window.

Partners and children are always welcome to join in the session to create meaningful family portraits during your maternity shoot but it will be mostly focused on mom and her belly.

Please note that gowns, accessories, and jewelry are not provided at this time. Clients are encouraged to bring their own wardrobe pieces that reflect their personal style and vision for the session.

Because close-up images often include your hands, we recommend arriving with clean, well-manicured hands to ensure a polished look in your final portraits.
