Newborn Photography in Northern Virginia – What to Expect

At our professional newborn photography studio in Northern Virginia, we recommend scheduling your newborn photo session within the first two weeks after birth, as this is when babies are typically sleepiest and easiest to pose. However, we welcome newborns of any age and are happy to accommodate older babies as well.

During your newborn session, there is no strict time limit, pose restriction, or image cap — we aim to create a relaxed, customized experience for you and your baby.

Our fully equipped Northern Virginia studio includes a wide selection of high-quality newborn photography props such as blankets, headbands, tiebacks, knitted wraps, and more. If you would like to include any special or sentimental items, you are more than welcome to bring them along.

Because your hands may appear in some of the images, we recommend arriving with clean, well-manicured hands.

Please note: We do not provide hair styling, makeup, gowns, accessories, or jewelry for newborn or family portrait sessions.
