What to expect

  • Location: Private home studio near Chantilly, VA 20151 (serving Fairfax, Centreville, Herndon, Ashburn, and the greater Northern Virginia area).
  • Session types: Newborn, Maternity, Baby Milestones, and Family.
  • Length: Newborn 60 minutes; Maternity 60 minutes.
  • Comfort first: Warm room temp, white-noise, feeding + changing breaks, and seating for parents.

Safety & care

  • Baby-led posing with gentle transitions; no unsafe props or positions.
  • Sanitized wraps/props each session; linens laundered; hand hygiene throughout.
  • Sibling-friendly flow so big brothers/sisters get their moment and a break.

Sets, wraps & color palette

  • Creams, taupes, soft greys, and muted pastels for a clean, modern look.
  • Curated wraps, simple headbands/bonnets, and minimalist props (no clutter).

The session flow

  1. Booking & prep call – we align on look, colors, family outfits, and must-have shots.
  2. Session day – arrive, settle in, and let me lead; parents can rest.
  3. Soft proof gallery (within 14-21 days) – select favorites.
  4. Hand retouching (14-21 days after selections).
  5. Delivery – digitals via download.

Turnaround & rush

  • Proofs in 14-21 days; final edits in 14-21 days after selections.
  • Rush options: 72-hour edit (fee) for announcements or deadlines.

Investment overview

Policies (short & sweet)

  • Payment is due on the day of your session.
  • Reschedules for illness or baby timing are ok with notice.
  • No pets in the studio (outdoor sessions may include dogs).
