I wish the peak season for fall foliage lasted longer. I am going to miss the colorful leaves, but I am so glad that we had these beautiful overcast skies in the background to help set the mood. Sometimes overcast skies are great for photography because they act as a natural light box, providing a soft and even lighting. There is also a chance that you’ll have some amazing, interesting clouds to help compliment your pictures!
It was so cold outside, but this beautiful family and I had so much fun playing in the leaves. Cabell’s Mills Park is still a great place to be, especially during the fall season. Once you get done walking the trails, you can go home and have a nice cup of hot chocolate.
