As time goes on and our lives get busier, I start to appreciate the holidays because often, it’s the one time family can get together, sometimes the first time in many months.  That’s why I love doing family reunion sessions.  It’s great to be in the middle of so much excitement as family members smile and laugh while they catch up with each other.  I know it’s easy to forget the small details when things get hectic from all the craziness of the holidays, so here are some reminders for a successful session!

  • Please make sure all kids are fed and napped as much as possible so that they can be energized and happy.
  • Make sure all stickers/tattoos are removed before the session.
  • Have your hair and makeup ready.  Color coordinating clothes is nice but not necessary.
  • You are welcome to bring props but it’s not necessary either.

If we are going on location, bring extra snacks and drinks for the kids, bug spray, and a blanket.  Also, choose a location with easy parking and not too much walking for kids/grandparents.

Most importantly, remember to have fun!
